Contracts/Acquisition Support

Sesom provides cradle-to-grave acquisition support from pre-award and evaluation to post-award contract administration and close-out. We are experienced supporting all contract types to include performance-based and incentivized. We are adept using and supporting procurement tools and systems such as PRISM, FFMS, IFCAP, FMS, PAID, PeopleSoft and SharePoint. Our acquisition team support ranges from commodity purchases to agency-wide acquisition planning and execution. We are also experienced at supporting the contracts lifecycle from pre and post-award to close-out which includes records management. We assist with the requirements definition process through the organization and operation of IPTs. Sesom has assisted in adding agility, flexibility, and responsiveness to client operations by developing and implementing acquisition processes that are repeatable, sustainable, and become institutionalized.

Project Management and PMO Support

Sesom provides PMI-based project management expertise and support in program/project risk management, project controls, risk-based schedule analysis, decision analysis, supplier management, technology readiness level assessment, process analysis, and cost estimating and uncertainty analysis that enables our clients to reduce their overall risk profile. Sesom offers risk-based program/project management, spanning technical, schedule, and cost management to adapt a holistic view towards program/project success. Sesom provides project plans to client management and has experience managing integrated team schedules throughout the lifecycle processes. We have experience managing project resources including personnel, equipment and software. We are adept in creating and maintaining Microsoft Project Plans along with monitoring the portfolio status throughout the lifecycle and reports the status to the client.

Sesom also provides expert PMO Support by establishing and implementing best practices and maintaining standards related to project management, planning and execution. Sesom also serves as an organization’s central hub for project documentation, guidance and success metrics. Our methodologies and best practices are based on the industry standard (PMBOK, PMI)

Financial Management Support

Sesom is well equip and experienced to maintain the sound financial condition of our clients by providing management with timely and accurate decision-making information regarding policy and operating issues; advising the client and proper stakeholders on the availability and allocation of fiscal resources; monitoring and reporting budget and operational performance; establishing financial policies and procedures to govern operating practices; and providing centralized control over client assets, records, and contractual obligations.

Sesom helps it’s clients define financial roles with the use of a calibrated balance scorecard that will, in the end, provide fiduciary strategies, plans and monitoring/control.  Sesom will help evaluate financial operations and develop a brief explaining our findings.  Execution of the lessons learned from our findings will help financial functions and operations reach their peak capacity.  Sesom will evaluate performance drivers to provide the benchmarking needed to improve on financial management.  As a baseline is developed and adopted as a starting point, we will help enhance core processes such as financial realization, planning, budgeting, forecasting and data management reporting.
